About This Quote
The Bible tells us that belief in God is something that is not dependent upon reason. God demands our trust, not our understanding. Yet reason does influence us in choosing to believe in God. If we choose to believe in God because of our reasoning abilities, we have made a choice based on more than our emotions.
That is good, but it is not the only way to believe in God. It is possible to believe in God even if you don’t use your reasoning abilities at all.
